I love it, a quiet place, and the menu of good euros, with a lot of dishes to choose from.

I was gratified by this place, they had spoken to me a lot, but I didn't notice a job because I'm super lover and croquette cater, but these were missing something, something that I left you want more and no less bad I didn't ask for the rest of the super attentive and amble waiter, the fast and perfect service!

This apparently was on old salt store and you walk down into a lovely huge room with stone walls, lovely lighting and chunky wooden tables creating a wonderful ambience. Unfortunately there it ends. We were sat down and QR codes on paper place mats give you the menu at which point I wanted to leave but my daughter wanted to persevere. We were totally ignored for about ten minutes and finally a surly fellow came to take our food order not to offer us drinks nor water nor bread. We had passed a week in Spain and I had conversed with many waiters etc in Spanish but her they insisted on speaking to us in English which I found rude. Food was nothing special and the service spoilt the whole evening

I chose this restaurant as it is in the Michelin guide. I speak Spanish so went in and spoke to the staff who insisted on speaking English back to me with, what I can only call a bad attitude. For an upscale restaurant, there were no menus only a QR code on a paper placemat, which was fine for me but not my 80 year old father who’s technological skills are limited. It also means people sit there staring at their phones which I personally hate. We weren’t told the specials. Offered no bread. No aperitif. After 20 minutes of waiting for a drinks order or being offered water we ordered wine and a cocktail. The wine was slammed on the table and not allowed to breathe even though it was an expensive Ribeira. The waiter was incredibly rude when I asked for another cocktail. He took my existing one away (which I was quite happy with, I just wanted to try another! Which I said to him in Spanish) he then glared at me and muttered something. So much for service with a smile. The food was ok but nothing to rave about. There are soooo many good restaurants in Bilbao, give this one a miss. Conclusion food average. Service appalling. They also seemed very disappointed with a 30% tip. I wouldn’t have given them one but my dad insisted and they’d didn’t even bother to thank us or even give us a smile.
