I traveled through Montana, hoping to find some good food. After passing Billings, I didn't see anything appealing until I came across Timber Bar Grill. I ordered a big bacon cheeseburger and a generous BLT, and I also enjoyed a beer for just $3.75. It was fantastic! Thank you. View all feedback.

To make matters worse, the servers seemed to lack any personality, much like the missing mushrooms! All of this cost us $26! We had to ask for everything, including the bill and for them to process our payment. This used to be a special treat for us, but after this experience, I certainly won’t be returning! One of my favorite places in MT. When I drive south I always like to stop in. Quality time is always had. Patience is always recommended, but, you shouldn't be in a rush anyhow. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fried Chicken, Herder Burger
We stopped during a snow storm to eat and warm our bones. Immediately felt at home and that's not just because of the staff. The local patrons made us feel like family too. When it came time to leave our car was stuck. Staff and patrons came out to help push us out so we could get to the hotel. Top notch service and top notch people in general! I visited the restaurant the other day, and although the kitchen hadn't opened yet, it was definitely worth the wait. The food was incredible! The bartender, dressed in a Hawaiian shirt, was absolutely hilarious—he should seriously consider doing stand-up comedy!
The food, service, drink selection, and cocktails are exceptional! And don't overlook the beer – they offer a wide range, from stouts to sours. Make sure to drop by and greet the staff – Kara, Lucas, Mel, and the whole team!
