Dairy Queen - Big Stone Gap

I was not aware that the lobby was closed, so my 2-year-old daughter and I stopped by for lunch. I want to give a huge thank you to Sammy, who went above and beyond for us. We ordered at the door, and he even brought our food outside to us! He even checked if we needed drink refills while we dined outside. Sammy is the kind of employee that every place needs. Thank you! It was a fantastic experience.

I was craving a blizzard, but my experience was quite disappointing. My server was wearing a mask, which was good, but I noticed they were also wiping their nose during the pandemic, which made me uneasy. My blizzard ended up melting and spilling over three sides of the cup, with the spoon already resting in the melted ice. I didn't see anyone wearing gloves either. Overall, it wasn't the experience I had hoped for.

As an immigrant, I was initially worried about how we would be treated based on our appearance. However, I can confidently say that our order was correct and the staff were extremely polite. They made our experience feel personal and special. Even when they took a break outside to chat with friends, they took the time to come back and check on us. They didn't have to do that, but they made the effort, which was appreciated! Overall, I give this place top marks.

The food is amazing. With the exception of the service. I go and always ask for a new York cheesecake blizzard with extra cheesecake an no strawberry. Only one time have i ever got what i asked for. I love the new York blizzard and I would eat it everyday if it was made the way I paid for....

I normally enjoy my weekly cheat meal . I order the 3 piece chicken strip basket. Which comes with fries, gravy, and chicken tenders. Lately, it is one of two things. Either then chicken tenders are the size of my thumb (I know they probably can 't help that. or the amount of fries in the meal is sad. At the time I am writing this I have a total of 15 fries in my basket. Please include more fries in the meals. Thank you.
