The Old Pioneer Store And Emporium

We searched for stores in Downtown Big Rapids and stumbled upon this fantastic find! The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the delightful smell of chocolate and popcorn! They have a wonderful selection of unique gifts, home decor, and much more. The owner introduced herself and was incredibly friendly and helpful, serving as a wonderful ambassador for the city of Big Rapids. We will definitely be back!

Unpleasant experience. While they put on a nice facade, the truth is not so flattering. They seem to support communist ideals and corrupt politicians. The owners and their family lack integrity. I would advise against supporting this business.

This is the worst and most overpriced store in BR. They sell a variety of cheap trinkets made overseas. The family that owns it openly supports communism. They try to present themselves as good people by associating with their church, but in reality, they have done many unethical things throughout their lives.

This is a great place to check out! They have an incredible selection of treats. We tried a milkshake, which was excellent. My only downside is that the desserts are quite pricey.

Cute little local store, with good clothes, gifts, and treats! We took the family and the kiddos love it, will come again.
