The Islander - Big Lake

Good stuff. Visiting a friend on the back Id write a review now since I remembered I came for a few drinks and saw her food so we decided to eat here instead of bbq back in the house.... I had the shrimps cocktail and steak bits (apps we split, but I have the most shrimps! My friends had every dinner, I had Dessert! Chocolate cream pie the owner made from scratch! My waitress was a sweet little blonde lady, I don't think I ever had such nice servers, the food was a little entertaining, but she made it such a nice experience that I didn't even make it... I can't imagine how they keep their closets in stock, we had to get there by boat! I thought that was really cool.

Summer fun. If you have a boat its only way to get their in the summer that holds the Yahoos from the island, super sweet waiters, best new York Strip ive ever had...and a comfortable bar feeling...Karaoke nights are great...all worth visiting when you are in Big Lake...you can use your car or snow machine in winter over the ice street, unique culinary experience
