Second time this year and the service was poor again: we were 20 people, mostly foreigners, they brought only an italian menù, so the italians had to translate.... read more Second time this year and the service was poor again: we were 20 people, mostly foreigners, they brought only an italian menù, so the italians had to translate. We had to wait for the wine 45 minutes. The appetizers were ok but nothing special, I personally ordered Stufato di fassone but the meat was not tender. The bill was quite expensive for what we had. I would not recommend it.

Although aware of the great experience and professionalism always demonstrated by the staff to the chefs of the White Cross, it is our desire to once again underline the delicacy and elegance underlying the welcome that accompanied us during lunch on Christmas Day. Everything was absolutely impeccable from the reception of guests to the service, from the appetizers to the dessert. The restaurant is truly a flagship of Oropa, which hosts a fascinating and engaging Sanctuary in the heart of the Piedmont mountains, with splendid mountains as a backdrop.
