La Socket is located in small cul de sac at the Ilbarritz Golf Club. It's buzzie lunch time venue frequent by both golfers and locals. Food is very good with a good choice and always a plat du jour. Service is friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit if you are nearby. Like most things in this area it's not cheap average plat main course 14 18 eruos but its lovely food well presented.
Tables are outdoors and shaded with patio umbrellas. The view is on the golf and the bay of Biarritz until Hendaye. The food is great. I had the fish, Merlu, and the veggies were also delicious. The cafe gourmand comes with three tiny desserts including a lava cake.
La socket offers a great view over the golf course and the ocean. The friendly staff is efficient, the food is nicely prepared, the service is quick: what else could you want for lunch?
This restaurant is just great, though a little out of town. Situated on one of the best golf practice facilities in Europe (not kidding) , it has fantastic views of the Biscay and Pyrenees in Northern Spain. The food is equally good, service is great with staff who have been there for a long time. Definitely worth visiting and I would recommend booking. The only disappointment is that it only opens for dinner in summer.

A breathtaking view and an exceptional leader. changes his card every season and is very thorough on the agreements ... the servers are always nice, kind and the little care. always a nice gesture: towards children and dogs too!! Thank you

I'm not even talking about the number of times I went to lunch in this place. very good reception, very friendly and very pro staff. a breathtaking view on the green with the ocean in the background. the excellent cooked meal perfectly( and we have a similar establishment in tanks) prices are very correct for the quality of the dishes and for the place. the most.....our 2 ally are always welcome as happiness. Don't change anything you're on top.
