Great service, nice people, which made an extra effort to accommodate me on very short notice. Wanted to get a good nights sleep to be rested for the night and get a full day the following day starting early morning so we stopped earlier last night. The c... read more Wanted to get a good nights sleep to be rested for the night and get a full day the following day starting early morning so we stopped earlier last night. The cabins inside and outside are absolutely beautiful and the decor is simple and elegant. Exactly the way we liked a solid wood cabin to look like. We are a family of 6 two adults and 4 children. Thought we would be placed in two cabins next to each other or above one another, yet they placed us below the family with the roust kids and our kids were stomping above other family. I would not have done that, but maybe that’s all they had available. Also, would make more sense to have one cabin sleep 4 and the other sleep 2 3, so that my wife and I could possibly have “private time.” Just a thought. Instead, cabins sleep 3 each. Not a problem per se, just a thought. The service at the restaurant was absolutely wonderful. The tables were covered with immaculate white table cloths, and the food was excellent. The time it took to prepare was very acceptable. It didn’t take very long at all. Food was delicious. Accommodations bedding, beds, pillows, and bathrooms were exquisite. 5 starts for that all the way affords the board on that aspect. Quiet hours start at 22:00, but kids were running all over the place screaming at the top of their lungs until they settled down a bit passed 23:00. Just when I fell asleep around 23:30 I presume, the dogs stated with the barking that lasted pretty much between 23:30 until 02:30 or so, but after I chased them around the hotel space around 01:30 02:00 I thought they might be quiet long enough for me to fall asleep. Kind of rough with the hauling surrounding the cabin from all sides. Barks coming from the rear bathroom area as well as the front. It was too hot with no A/C units to close the windows, otherwise that may have been an option. To be continued.
