Restaurant du Club House du Centre d'Entrainement de Golf.L'intérieur de ce restaurant est vraiment sans intérêt, mais sa terrasse est superbe.Vous surplombez le golf, la somptueuse chatreuse de Latécoère, et la mer.Seul bémol, vous ne verrez pas le coucher du soleil qui vous sera caché par la colline où le Baron de L'Epee avait fait construire son Château étrange et solennel De la cusine traditionnelle du pays basqu... L'endroit est sublime ! Les plats sont plutôt bons mais mais mais ...cela ne suffit pas à fidéliser la clientèle car le service n'est pas du tout à la hauteur ! L'accueil est déplorable( pas de bonjour à l'arrivée !)et le sourire est aux abonnés absents ...globalement le sentiment que nous avons eu est : on s'en fout ,on vous apporte vos plats et c'est TOUT ! The La-Sockel offers a great view over the golf course and the sea. the friendly staff is efficient, eating is nicely prepared, the service is fast: what else could you want to lunch?
This restaurant is simply great, though a little from the city. Located on one of the best golf practice facilities in europa (not awkward), it offers a fantastic view of the biscay and pyrene in northern Spain. the food is just as good, the service is great...with workers who have been there for a long time. definitely worth a visit and I would recommend the booking. the only disappointment is that it is open only for dinner in summer.
The la socket is located in a small bag in the golf club ilbarritz. it is often buzzie midday resort of golfers and locals. eating is very good with a good choice and always a plate du jour. service is friendly and efficient. well worth a visit if they are close. like most of the things in this area it is not cheap average plate main course 14 18 eruos but its beautiful food well presented.
