Tibetan Mandala Cafe - Bhagsu

The food at this restaurant is truly outstanding. The owner is very friendly, although a bit chaotic when it gets busy. The menu is excellent with a variety of delicious options. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, lunch, a snack, dinner, or just a quick bite, this place is a must-visit.

The café is located on the main street among other shops and small cafes. We enjoyed a ginger tea and sandwiches at this establishment, which were delightful in the cold weather. Evening is the ideal time to visit as you can soak in the touristy atmosphere and savor your drink as well!

I decided to visit this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend, and I had a good experience overall. The fried and steamed vegetable momos were delicious. However, the vegetable sizzler we ordered was not very satisfying. The service was good and the staff was friendly. There were some limitations due to electricity issues, which prevented them from serving certain items. The cafe provides a great atmosphere for hanging out.

Choice of coffees, cakes, lassies and small bites on Temple Road, served on a small terrace. Quiet on week days when low traffic and few klaxons. Service is unfriendly.
