What lotusdiamond doesn't like about Shiva Cafe:
If you are at Bhagsu naag waterfall and have stamina and energy then you may visit this Cafe. This café is nothing great after so much of trekking , no doubt views are mesmerizing but not worth the effort. Prices are on higher side , food is just average and place is full of colorful paintings of God Goddess. You get feel of hippie style place. You need to trek almost for 20-25 min from falls. You get to see many oth... View all feedback.
Have been visiting this place on my treks to the triund and the Food here is amazing. The cafe is situated right next to a small waterfall.
Yes it is a beautiful cafe set up nicely above the bhagsunag waterfall. You have to walk for 5 to 7 mins above the waterfall to reach here. Food is delicious and the view from here is quite good. Food rates are a bit high here..
If you're planning to visit Bhagsu Falls in Mcleodganj, make sure to stop by Shiva Cafe at the hills. The trek up is a 30-minute stair climb, but the picturesque location and delicious food and drinks make it worth it. *Highly recommended for a chill getaway.*
After hearing a lot about this cafe, we decided to give it a try. Located above the Bhagsunag waterfalls (I never knew a cafe could be higher than a waterfall), the trek up was extremely steep and difficult. I would not recommend this for children, elderly people, or those with low stamina or leg problems. After a challenging climb, we finally reached the cafe (it felt like reaching the top of a hill). The atmosphere was unique and captivating, with nice music and eclectic decor featuring wall paintings of Shiva and other Indian gods. The overall vibe was very hippie. The food, however, was only average (especially considering the effort it took to get there). I would recommend trying this cafe only if you are looking for a different experience and have good stamina. If great food is your priority, I suggest checking out other cafes in Dharamkot and McLeodGanj instead.
The food at this restaurant was delicious! We ordered a sizzler, Maggi noodles, pancakes, and Kadhai Paneer along with some drinks. The ambiance was amazing, it felt like the perfect spot for a romantic date. I really enjoyed my experience there and can't wait to go back again.
