This was my third visit to Norling. We ordered momos, soups, bread sandwiches. Momos are juicy and yummy and the taste was same as ever. This is the best momos I ever had. One may try other tibetan dishes like Thukpa. Must visit for Tibetan food. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Norling restaurant:
I went there after reading some reviews and getting to know that it appeared in one of the famed food shows but talk of ambience: Nil star; Food quality: 1 star; courtesy or hospitality: 1 star. The waiter doesn't even know what is being served and quality is as good as any roadside dhaba rather worse than them. Even food shows should take some responsibility of giving review based on some facts. View all feedback.
This restaurant used to have good food before the pandemic, but now it's not tasty. I would recommend going elsewhere. If the chef is inexperienced, it's not worth paying expensive prices.
Norling restaurant, located near the intersection of Jogiwara and Temple Road, is renowned for its Tibetan cuisine. This family-run establishment is a no-frills restaurant with simple service. The food is reasonably priced and while nothing extraordinary, it is worth trying the Spinach momos.
This restaurant is excellent for authentic Tibetan cuisine. Make sure to sample the succulent mutton momos, Thukpa, and Thentuk. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious.
There are very few places in scenic Mcleodganj that make Indian tourists like us feel welcome and this no-frills restaurant is top of the list. The Pork Momos were the best we had-soupy, served with a piquant sauce, I really wish we could have eaten more. Unfortunately they didn't have their famous Chives Momos but what impressed us most was that the lady owner sent one of her staff to check if chives were actually available, now wouldn't you call that impressive?
Nice place. It’s a no frills small restaurant. We had the momos chow mein and the traditional tibétain bread with some shabka. It was simple and tasty. They serve a tibetian chilli paste on the side. Extremely fiery but a must try.
