This restaurant may be a bit out of the way, but it is definitely worth the search. Just walk past the Green hotel and follow the signs. I don't have much experience with Korean cuisine, but after eating here three times, I can say that I absolutely love the food! The kimbap and bibimbap with vegetables and tofu are delicious. And don't forget about the incredible view of the mountains. This is a must-try! View all feedback.

Despite reading positive reviews, I personally did not enjoy my experience at this café. While they serve a variety of Korean green teas and gingernade, I found that they did not suit my taste. The food, although freshly made, did not appeal to my palate. I ordered the chicken katsu meal, which came with soup and kimchi. While the chicken was tender, it lacked proper seasoning, and the soup and kimchi were not to my liking. I have tried better versions of the dishes I ordered at other Korean restaurants in Mcleodganj. The only highlight of the meal was the banoffi parfait. The café opens for business after 12 pm, and the service can be slow. Overall, my dining experience at this café was disappointing.
So far, I must have spent at least five nights at Cafe Ri in order to get my daily intake of Kimbap or Bimbap. While it's a bit outside of the main area, it's absolutely worth the short trek. Even more, if you're staying at Green Hotel and it's only a few meters away! The food is spectacular, the setting to die for. Every hipster cafe in the West would dream of having such a scenery with the bamboo walls, tiny plants everywhere and beautiful chairs and tables. The view is just as good as on every other rooftop and their two teas (the blue one and the red one) are both super yummy!Serving sizes are reasonable and when getting the Kimbap opting for the extra soup and Kimchi is absolutely worth it.Can't recommend it highly enough. No disrespect to Tibetan food (or the Japanese restaurant in town), but when it comes to healthy, tasty food, Cafe Ri beats you all by far.The only thing they should change: Have your waiters smile every now and then. It might just make somebody's day. ;-)

Me ,my dad and my sister were sitting on the side table with an extra chair since it was the only table left with the proper view. We just gave our orders , when a white (angrez) couple came in. Instead of moving them to the 4 seater table which didn't have the proper view they asked us to go sit on that table. I mean how rude can you be. That too in a very disrespectful manner , they had 2 people sitting on a 4 seater table which was also on the side and had view but they never asked them to change tables coz they were locals.
Korean Cafe Ri offers delicious food in a beautifully designed space with a pleasant ambience. Their Korean dishes, especially their burgers, are top-notch. A must-try during your visit to Dharamsala. Thank you.
