It's a rare airport to have good food at reasonable prices but Marche at Zurich airport fits the bill especially if you want a break from fast food outlets. This branch though needs more English translation and explanations of their meal deals, so it was a great that a staff member took the time to explain them to us in English and pointed out deals that are value for money in expensive Zurich. I travel regularly through zurich airport. The marche restaurant is consistent in many ways: The layout is confusing; is it takeaway,am I paying at the correct place? Always the same. Das angebotene Essen ist von guter Qualität und schmeckt gut, insbesondere die Salatbar. Nur das gesamte Angebot ist ziemlich reduziert und die Preise zu hoch, daher die niedrigere Bewertung. Die Dekoration ist klasse.Als Reisende hat man im Flughafen kaum ein anderes Angebot (Bürger King,...)
I tried the ham and Chess and who was very good, and definitiw the price worth. the personal was also friendly! they also have a varied selection of drinks, but also hot meals!
I travel often through Zürich airport and this place is usually good (accepting high airport prices). This morning there was a lovely lady on the bakery section, but the man on the cash desk was a real Mr Miserable! There was obviously a problem with...the coffee machine because my coffee was 90 foam and hardly any milk. I point this out to Mr Miserable and asked for some extra hot milk. He shouted at me NO, that is how Latte macchiato comes with foam! He then proceeded to get very angry and I wasn’t really in the mood for a row at 8am over extra hot milk! Disappointing when you spend CHF 30 for a small breakfast. Obviously not the first time I order a Latte macchiato in my life or even at this restaurant and the lack of customer service and general aggression was totally unacceptable. I noticed he was being generally rude to everyone, so perhaps he was having a bad day or doesn’t like his job. Please Marche don’t put people like this in a client facing role. It spoils your brand and your customer’s breakfast!
It's not the typical bar or trash food chain. Serves good salads, assorted fruits, sandwiches, grilled meals and Asian soups. Cheaper and more varied than other options at Zurich airport. Nice ambient.
Relaxed atmosphere - cafeteria service with lots of choices. Plenty of seating - short lines. We enjoyed the fresh fruits and breakfast foods.
