So you've been on holiday touring the Baltic States and had a good time. But one thing they can't do is a proper breakfast, You know what I mean, the bacon is all fat and crispy, sausages far too spicy for breakfast, So it's good to get back to the regular English breakfast. The Cray Side Cafe does excellent breakfasts. You get a wide range of standard combinations or you can pick and mix. The place is clean and brig... View all feedback.
What Nelson F doesn't like about Cray Side Cafe:
Avoid this restaurant! The sausage I ordered was undercooked, but I didn't realize it until I had eaten half of it. When I cut it in half lengthways, I discovered that it was still pink in the middle. They refunded me £2, but within 10 minutes of leaving the restaurant, I vomited everything up. Consider yourself warned! View all feedback.
Located on the Westside of the River Cray, this is a satisfactory café with a varied basic menu, with outside seating.
I have been using this cafe and I must say I am impressed with the food and service, I would go as far as to say it’s the best cafe in Crayford I have given it 4* only because the table sauces are cheap ALDI seats around 30 people and seating outside for 10 more. Use of toilets but no disabled toilets. Access to disabled in the cafe but nowhere to store chairs or scooters. I would love to hear from you all
Had a lovely breakfast here, a nice warm welcome and speedy service.
Ordered fish chips and got a frozen fish and frozen chips thrown into the fryer right before my very eyes! Fish and chips is a national dish and I could have bought that food in a supermarket and eaten better at home! I mean, even if it's just the chips, how difficult is it to buy some potatoes, peel them and bang them in a fryer? It's just lazy cooking!
Was going to work a bit later as I had to pick something up in Crawford, as I came into Crawford, I came to the width restriction by Green Walk? I think. Anyway there are more than enough cafés in Crayford, but there were plenty of parking spaces outside so I thought I'd give it a try. 2 fellas working, probably more people work there, dunno. Anyway that was one of the best café breakfasts I've had in a long time, and I told them so, emptied my pocket of loose change and put it in the bowl. From memory, 2 eggs, mush, plum toms, plenty of bacon, fried slice?, 2 toast, cuppa, couple of hash browns maybe more I can't remember, but friendly, obviously have regulars, polite and a nice breakfast to boot.
