What User doesn't like about Sai Thong Thai Take Away:
Had the red curry duck and the basil chilli stir fry. Both dishes were overwhelmingly salty, the pieces of veggies too big and you couldn't really taste them as both dishes were quite bland. This was the first time here so it could be that we were unlucky, but not coming back in a rush. Prices are quite reasonable, if only the food was a little better it would be ok value. Decided to try the local restaurants for dinner, toss up between Sai Thong and Thai Venue - Thai Venue didn't open at 5pm like it said. duck red curry - meat well-cooked, loved the pineapple and bamboo shoots, curry was a bit too sweet for my liking though.pad khee mao was .. underwhelming. satay chicken was a bit dry, nothing special about the sauce.
The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is excellent. I live in Bexley and my favourite Thai restaurant in the area is definitely Sai Thong. Also the lunch specials are just $9.95 for great dishes!!
