I often try the specials, but love the Parisian Salad with Angus Beef, the prices are very cheap and the food is always nice. The atmosphere is nice for families, this is NOT a rowdy Pub, well it isn't when we go there, which is...during the week, at night. May be different on a weekend. The Salt n Pepper Squid is always cooked perfectly. They have specials on every night, well worth a try View all feedback.
What Maria Weber doesn't like about Bexley North Hotel:
Punters don't bother! Soccer takes precedence over the TAB. Food is average to below average. Beers cost more than other pubs in the area. Management supports these decisions. View all feedback.
But are still awesome value: the free kids meal with every adult meal not from teh $10 menu still applies on Sundays...
Bexley North hotel is a firm favourite of ours. There's a decent sized menu and daily specials. The highlight for us (apart from the great staff) are the steaks! Basted in a delicious sauce they are then cooked to perfection however you choose with two sides and gravy. Right opposite Bexley North Station I'd recommend this pub for lunches and dinners.
This is one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. The meat is chargrilled and it tastes amazing. I have had it several times and it never disappoints. They also do a great $10 steak which is also another of my favourites.
The Bexley North Hotel serves pub food at great prices - the menu's not enormous, but they do have a specials board and a selection of $10 meals, and on Sundays, you can get a kid's meal for free with every adult meal ordered (not including the specials board or the $10 menu). Even better: the $10 250g rump steak isn't part of those exclusions, so you can get a kid's meal with that as well. The meals aren't huge and definitely not gourmet pub food, but they're generally cooked well and awesome value if you've got kids.If you've got a larger group, it's a good idea to book, because they don't have a huge number of tables - they only seem to use the outdoor area occasionally, but I'm not sure about the exact criteria. I'm also not sure if the free kids meals only apply on Sundays - sorry. There's a car park for the small shopping precinct that the hotel is part of, but none of those businesses are open on Sundays or in the evenings, so there's always plenty of room.
A two minute's walk from Bexley North station is the public library that I've gone to for years.
