This is one of my favorite restaurants in San Antonio for consistently delicious Israeli Mediterranean cuisine. As vegetarians, we truly enjoy this place. They start you off with a generous homemade pita served with oil and cheese. The vegetarian platter is massive and includes the best falafels I've ever tasted. The dolmas are delightful, as are the labneh and baba ghanoush. They stay open late until 9:30, making it convenient to dine after a busy day. I highly recommend it!
The food was significantly below their usual high standards. The meats were dry and lacking in flavor. The hummus had no taste at all. The only dish that had any flavor was the rice.
Nice place! Seating consists of cushy benches and long tables which were surprisingly comfortable. The waiters are a bit curt/no fuss, but quick and generous with the pita. The hummus is yummy and a small will do ya. The salad that comes on the platter is topped with a light but scrumptious dressing and goat cheese. It also has a perfect amount of black olives. Had to take away because there was so much food.I will be back.
