It would be amazing to arrive in the vast mountain circus that engulfes the place êtes closed. Anyway the first time the surprise is guaranteed! To help you recover from the geological shock, the Auberge is just great. Even grumpy clients are welcomed with a...large smile. The cooking is very well done with products that are directly from the nearby forest. The digestive walk will amaze everybody. Take the time and g... View all feedback.
What Giedrė Skaidra doesn't like about Auberge communale de Pont-de-Nant:
we had lunch at this weekend in le pont de nant. we visited two years ago and were very regular to go as we enjoyed eating, ambiente and the magnificent environment. we were a bit disappointed when the restaurant lost some of them unique and local charm. the decor is a sticky contemporary style that works in a city not a rural alpine frame. the food was okay, not great. had the roesti, the soggy and had no taste. the... Open for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year, this Auberge is the a real treat. The walk up through the snowy woods takes about 45 minutes, just enough to justify a desert obviously lets face it there is a good 45 minute walk...home .. The food is excellent, the decor a welcome variation from Swiss Chalet chic but still sporting a big roaring fire complete with smiling but silent decorative child with rosy cheeks. For these things alone it is worth seeking out, but the genius the untold superlative genius of the place is that stacked up outside are a wide variety of sledges. With the bill you are invited to select one for your journey home. Genius. Shame about the desert really.. So my plea to the owners of this wonderful restaurant in the mountains is that you need to open more than 2 weeks in the winter, how about the weekends like Refuge Giacomoni and the Refuge and Solalex in a similar location seems to be permanently full surely you could be too?
That is a delightful restaurant at the foot of the great muverans at bex, Switzerland. the food is delicious, innovativ and plentiful. the location is absolutely great. there are many hiking trails and a beautiful alpine garden. the service is excellent and the server are. very friendly and helpful when they choose a court.
This restaurant is simply top class: it serves fine foods, traditional Swiss and inventive French style menu items that you would expect in a fancy restaurant by a lake. The service is efficient and prompt, the dishes look high quality and the taste is unbelievably exquisite. You will appreciate the smiling waiters, mine was Alexandre, who deserves a big compliment for his outstanding service! This Auberge is well worth a visit from far and//or after a great hike, which was my case. I had Rosti with goat cheese, dried tomatoes and rocket, an absolute delicacy.Check out the dessert menu and go, for example, for the Raspberry Millefeuille with raspberry sorbet. You will not forget this place, which by the way is also a hotel, dorms, and beautiful indoor, outdoor eating areas, kids' playground, etc.Prices are very good for what is offered at high standard.Bed/Breakfast is available at standard local prices.Lots of hiking trails right outside, plenty of parking and very near to Aigle, Bex, Lavey-les-Bains.Please also visit the Botanical Gardens "La Thomasia", opposite the Auberge!Mariana Amar
