Description

On Beverly's North Shore, this owner-operated pizzeria-deli elevates comfort food with freshly made dough, consistently crisp crusts, and a bold tomato sauce. The inventive menu ranges from spicy chicken momos and homemade chicken-cutlet subs to cauliflower-crust pizzas and notable steaks. Service is personal — staff and the owner routinely correct mistakes and even hand-deliver replacements — and orders are often early. Occasional order mix-ups and undersized “large” subs are minor detractors in an otherwise satisfying local draw.

The Red Sox Special Pizza ordered tonight and it was delicious. The sauce was tasteful. The crust was perfect. It's just that the Hamburger topping was missing.

I'm a huge fan of dumplings in all their varieties, so when I found out they serve Momos, I couldn't resist checking them out. I was not disappointed! The chicken dumplings are simply amazing. They have a fantastic flavor, are perfectly juicy, and have a delightful bite to them. I can't wait to try more after finishing this review. They come with a tomato-based sauce that has a bit of spice, which really enhances the flavor of the dumplings. I'm tempted to order a large container of it so I can use it for my own cooking at home. The pizza here is also good—it's decent for what they offer. While it's not my absolute favorite, I definitely wouldn't hesitate to grab a slice when I'm in for my Momos.

We visited this restaurant for the first time this week and ordered some pizzas. The dough is freshly made in the kitchen, and the crust was outstanding. Everything from the sauce to the cheese and spices was just perfect. I also tried a cauliflower crust pizza; while it wasn't made on-site, it was still quite good, and the toppings were delicious. The menu looks fantastic, with many items that you won't find in a typical pizzeria. We will definitely return!

I spoke with the owner to let him know about the situation. I mentioned that I order from there often and was disappointed that after such a long wait, I couldn't enjoy my meal. He was very apologetic and went above and beyond by preparing fresh food and personally delivering it himself. I find this level of service to be exceptional, and I truly appreciate his commitment to getting things right.

Upon ordering a bomb chicken cutlet sub, the owner informed me that the chicken cutlet was home made. And by gollie he wasn’t just whistling dixie. It was in fact home made and delicious. However, Iike most take out places on the North Shore, they need to realize that a large sub needs to be 20” or more in order to be labeled a large sub.
