**SOMA: A Dining Experience That Delivers Mixed Results**
SOMA is celebrated for its vibrant ambience and attentive service, making it a popular choice for both casual dining and special occasions. Patrons rave about dishes like the calamari, arancini, and blackened catfish tacos, along with expertly crafted cocktails and a commendable wine list. While many enjoy flawless meals, some recent visits have flagged inconsistencies, particularly with takeout and specific entrees like the tenderloin and pizza. Despite occasional slip-ups, the overall experience remains positive, especially for diners who appreciate the lively atmosphere and excellent service that keeps them returning for more. Reservations are highly recommended.

After a stressful day, I was in need of a nice meal, and this restaurant turned out to be the perfect choice. I really enjoyed the arancini, the salmon BLT sandwich, and the cocktails. Tom provided excellent service and took great care of us.
Exceptional food and service in a beautiful setting. The best espresso martini I've ever had!
What a fantastic dinner before the concert! Our first visit to SOMA definitely won't be our last. I have to start by mentioning our server, Victoria, who was absolutely wonderful—funny, friendly, and prompt with service. The martinis were perfectly chilled. The calamari was the best we've ever had, served with marinara at the bottom of the platter, with expertly fried calamari tentacles and rings tossed with arugula. It was incredibly delicious! We also shared a delicious eggplant and basil pizza with an amazing crispy crust. Next time, we'll make sure to save room for dessert!
SOMA has been a staple for quite some time, and I realized I hadn’t visited in a few years. In the past, the food was decent but not exceptional, but this visit blew me away. The PEI mussels were incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, allowing their delightful ocean flavor to shine through. The swordfish was also remarkably fresh, cooked to perfection, and accompanied by a tangy lemon sauce with bits of bacon alongside some delicious gnocchi. My Manhattan was crafted by someone who clearly knows what they’re doing; it was impeccably balanced and beautifully presented. Another highlight was the wine list, which offers a variety of good bottles around $40. This really enhances the experience, allowing you to enjoy a fantastic meal with quality drinks without breaking the bank.
