I really enjoyed the Cheesesteak at this restaurant as well as the excellent customer service. The owner is an asset to the local community and a very kind person. The corn cake was a big hit with my group and you can't go wrong with the beef. Overall, everything was good quality. It was a bit too spicy for my 8-month-old, but the adults loved it! After finally being able to place an order over the phone, my partner and I ordered the crabcakes that we had enjoyed before. Unfortunately, this time they were completely inedible. I just tried la Lus vegan cafe and I have to say it was reallyyyyyy good ! I got the southern soul and the Philly way with a side a Mac and kale. I feel like everyone’s needs to try this place I’ll definitely be coming back there I called in my order and the phone service was great she was very nice and took her time and there was a girl playing the piano she was so nice really a lovely business !! I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant but there was a number of things leading up to dissatisfaction. We waited 25 mins for someone to come to the door, and we called twice no one answered the phone.The fried mushrooms were extremelyyyyyyyyy salty we couldn’t even finish them. And the rice was undercooked! Me my Husband are Vegan Connoisseurs. Restaurants like Nourish Philly have exceptional mushrooms you guys should try it. LOVE this place!!! The food is incredible and I?m not even vegan! The staff is really nice and the building is well kept. Definitely highly recommended!!
The food was really good. I ate every bite and I am not a vegan! I had the fried un-chicken with macaroni and kale. It was all delicious! I do NOT like mushrooms but I took a chance and tried something new, I?m glad I did because I enjoyed it. Did I mention I did not leave one bite left on my plate? I am not at all a fan of vegan cheeses, they can be hit or miss but this Mac and cheese was tasty without tasting artificial if you know what I mean. The customer service was very very friendly and kind from everyone we spoke with. I will definitely go back. I can?t wait to try the un chicken parm and beyond burgers my next visit.
