Description

Nestled in a cozy setting, Crave has garnered praise for its delicious breakfast sandwiches and excellent coffee, including a standout gluten-free variety. The menu offers enticing options, but customers have noted inconsistent service and frequent shortages of popular items like tater tots and plain iced tea. While the food quality remains high, with many reveling in the delightful pastries and sandwiches, the overall dining experience can be marred by lackluster staff interactions and a need for cleanliness. Despite these drawbacks, loyal patrons appreciate the charm and potential of this beloved local spot.

The staff is very welcoming and they offer a variety of gluten-free options. They are also knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to food allergies.

I really liked the Crave sandwich, especially the delicious jammy egg. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit bland, lacking character and charm. I decided to take my food to go and sat at the beach to eat my lunch instead. There were more options for meat-eaters than vegetarians. However, there were decent gluten-free options available, including bread, cupcakes, and other treats for those with dietary restrictions.

The food and coffee is very good. When I first started frequenting Crave the service was great. But like any place lately that hires college age adults, you now get the miserable, flat affect greeting that makes you feel that you've annoyed or offended them just by walking in. The girl making the coffee was pleasant enough, but the girl who took our order was the aforementioned sour puss. The counters were filthy and the staff stood by as I cleaned the counter for them. In the past when poorly cleaned a friendly staff came right over to clean and apologize. For me, bad service is a deal breaker. I give two stars for past experiences, but if this were my first time I would give zero if I could.
