A very nice simple restaurant in Beverly, MA. Mostly for take out but you can dine in. Quick service and good portions for the price. Good place if you want to have a quick freshly cook meal. You can watch the chef too. A rare sight for a take out joint. View all feedback.
What Brett Jordan dislikes about China River:

Delicious food at excellent prices, and the staff is wonderful. It would be even better if they had air conditioning, as it can get quite warm on hot and humid summer days, but there is a fan available.

I ordered delivery like I usually do, choosing pork fried rice and chicken teriyaki. However, the rice was hard, and they had replaced the chicken with a different, softer version. When I called to complain, I told the lady that my food tasted terrible. She claimed to have given me a $30 credit, but when I asked for a refund, she refused. I definitely won’t be returning to this restaurant again.
