The Beverly Depot, a charming restaurant housed in a repurposed train station, combines nostalgia with a warm atmosphere featuring a fireplace and high ceilings. Diners appreciate the quick, friendly service and a delightful salad bar, though opinions on the food are mixed. Many rave about the steaks, particularly the rare prime rib and NY sirloin, claiming they rival those found in top Boston steakhouses. However, some find certain dishes, like baked scallops, lackluster and uninspired. Desserts and innovative cocktails receive positive mentions, making Beverly Depot a cozy spot for both casual meals and special celebrations amid the sounds of trains passing by.

Was Chrissy S at Beverly Depot a mag?
Stopped in Saturday night with two friends. We were able to park right out front and we were seated immediately. Salad bar was an absolute delight. Rare prime rib was incredible. Fried ice cream ended the evening and I was struggling to finish the generous portion!Atmosphere was on point. Brick inside with a tall wooden roof. The high ceilings make it feel very roomy. We had a really wonderful time and we'll be back... View all feedback.
What Aran Issa dislikes about Beverly Depot:
The atmosphere makes it worth a visit, but if I go back, I would only order appetizers. Unfortunately, the ribeye steak I had was one of the worst I've ever eaten. It was burnt and overcooked, not at all like a proper medium. The cut of meat itself was subpar—tough and with several inedible bits of ligament that shouldn't have been present in a quality ribeye. I should have sent it back, but honestly, I didn't feel c... View all feedback.
My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Salem for my birthday because I'm a witch. We chose this restaurant pretty quickly, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and served hot. The salad bar was always well-stocked with a great variety. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. If you're not sure what to eat, the Beverly Depot restaurant is definitely the best choice!
I really enjoy seeing old depot buildings repurposed in this way. The service was quick and friendly, and the meals were reasonably priced and quite satisfying. It's definitely a great place to stop by before or after a train ride.
I visited this restaurant after watching Elvis at NSMT, and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, and the salad bar with fresh bread was a delightful addition. I highly recommend this place!
