Mastro's features several private rooms, including one located in their wine cellar, which I was fortunate enough to enjoy when a friend rented it for his 40th birthday. The restaurant spans two floors; the main floor offers a quiet and intimate setting, while the upstairs piano bar attracts a livelier crowd. It’s also a great spot for some celebrity spotting, as many famous faces frequent this place. If you're a meat lover looking for an outstanding atmosphere, I highly recommend taking a trip to Mastro's.

Mastro’s is the finest restaurant I've ever experienced. It seamlessly blends sophistication, reminiscent of a Sinatra vibe, with exceptional cuisine. The steaks are expertly prepared, and the sides are truly outstanding. The service is top-notch and unmatched. Note: This is the perfect place for celebrating special occasions or hosting a business meeting.

Before dinner, we all indulged in a few cocktails, and Mickey proved to be very knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine list. My team and I shared a dozen delicious oysters to start. For my main course, I ordered the bone-in filet mignon, which I was told was more flavorful than a boneless filet. While I've had better fillets at other steakhouses, what really set Mastro's apart were the lobster mashed potatoes! They aren't listed on the menu, but they were absolutely incredible. For dessert, I tried the chocolate cake, which was rich—almost too rich for my taste. However, the vanilla bean ice cream that accompanied it was the best I’ve ever had. The staff at Mastro's were all friendly and made the experience even more personal. Overall, it was a beautiful and unforgettable evening at Mastro's.

The steaks here are amazing. This is one of the pricier restaurants in the city, but it was very pleasant (may be cuz I don't pay the bill!). The Petite Filet I had was cooked to perfection and still comes on a dish directly from the oven and can therefore not be touched for some time. It seems strange to me and I don't understand the voodoo that doesn't overcook it. Are you eating fast? The mashed potatoes should also die. Loved the ambience, even if it was a bit loud. Service impeccable. Would you go back, who wants to take me?

The ambiance is wonderful as you go upstairs to the piano bar lounge. There’s always a great crowd of older people. Some are young and attractive too. I ordered a petit steak once and it was very tough. So, I let the manager know and he comped me because it was 10:45 and the kitchen was closing, he offered dessert. I will come back again just because service was top notch and try a better steak that is tender!
