The Flats - Beverly Hills

This was our first time in the flats restaurant . my wife and I met our good friend for a appetizer in saban theatre . I went online and made a reservation. we were greeted by ronnie who has made our experience we will remember. make sure to ask ronnie to describe elements in the menu. amazing. I am sure that other server will make a great job, but ronnie is excellent. my wife and my friend had both salmon, which was cooked right. I had a flat bread. the thin crust cut pfefferoni, sausage, tomato sauce and cheese gave a hearty taste that added to the very smooth and delicious margarita. we all enjoyed our meal and look forward to the return to try other elements on the menu. server was excellent and we are glad that we made reservations, as the restaurant filled quite quickly. but eating came out very quickly. I suggest to try the flats restaurant. it is worth stopping.

Food was great , food presentation beautifully prepared . The noise level is beyond loud, they have live music which was great but at the level it was played was way beyond the point of hearing the person seated right next to you .the acoustics really need some big improvement . Other than that I had a fun enjoyable time at the flats ! I would recommend it and I would go again , just might bring along some ear plugs is all !

Awesome location, with savory specialties. Perfect spot for any size gathering in a casual environment. Highly recommend a visit, and don’t miss the squash blossom, all of the flats, and the specialty drinks are a must!

6/22/18So we came for a women's conference. And was told that Flats was the place to be. Came in with a 2 o'clock reservation for two and was told we would be seated at the bar with high step stools.. My friend couldn't do that so they seated us at a table for two.. it went down from there.. we were ignored until i asked for water, but no silverware.. we then ordered and still got no silverware until i asked.. our food came and it was excellent! Our waiter was great but forgot the silverware and then replied..did they take them from you? We said no. We never got any.. then we received them.. the food was great!! Service was ok... but what really made me uncomfortable was the pornography in both bathrooms.. I don't feel that was appropriate for a restaurant.. i won't be back.. i have another day but will pick up something else for lunch as I won’t be back.

Sadly, The Flats was not prepared for a conference at the Saban Theater and the overflow traffic at lunch. The soft drinks had no carbonation (even our replacement soft drinks) and our food arrived 15 minutes apart from each other, a total of 45 minutes after ordering it. Our salmon wasn’t cooked through either. The portions were very small for the large prices too. I was hopeful walking into this restaurant, but I would not recommend The Flats to anyone.
