I think most people end up leaving their review at sugarfish but the tiny 12 seat Nazawa sushi bar in the back is something incredibly special!! We had a superb omakase tasting. For sure some of the very best you can get in the United States!!!! Memorable! View all feedback.
What ARCHIGUS doesn't like about Nozawa:
Why don't you use rubber gloves to prepare the dish orders? He saw in a video that there are two Asian people eating their hands on the same plate without wearing gloves. No matter how clean your hands are, it is more hygienic to use gloves. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
I had no idea that Sugar Fish had this secret side—it’s extremely exclusive and private. Without a doubt, some of the best sushi I've ever experienced. The service was fantastic as well—very friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back!
We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at Nozawa Bar, and it was an unforgettable experience. The lobster sashimi we had at the beginning was a standout dish, and the sushi selection was outstanding. The sake paired beautifully with our meal and was refilled promptly whenever our glasses were empty. Given the high quality of both the sushi and the service, we found the price to be very reasonable. My personal favorite was the engawa, which had an incredible texture and flavor. We’re already planning to return with our kids to share this wonderful experience with them. Overall, our visit was truly amazing.
The food is of excellent quality—everything is incredibly good, and I highly recommend it. All the sushi is extremely fresh, and the meats are very tender. The flavors are outstanding. You definitely need to give it a try!
One of my favorite places for omakase! They do it right and chef Fuji is a genius! Honestly, I love sushi but I'm a very picky sushi eater. My wife would call me basic haha but this is the only place where I can eat EVERYTHING that is served! Been here 3 maybe 4 times and it never disappoints! It's also an experience. You get taken to the back room with 10 other patrons and you get this private omakase experience. If you haven't tried, hurry hurry hurry!
Came here for dinner and had a great experience! You have to make a prepaid reservation online on Tock, and the restaurant is located in the back room of Sugarfish. Omakase (4/5): On my visit I was served about 22 courses including dessert and everything was delicious. I was afraid it would be too much food, but I left feeling perfectly full. Overall it's a great spot for a date night or special occasion. At $225/person it's definitely on the pricier side, but I loved the intimate vibe and being able to interact with Chef Fuji and the other guests, it was like a private party. Customer service from Sue was excellent as well, she kept the sake pouring! If you want to be seated in front of Chef Fuji make sure you show up early to check in.
