Contribute FeedbackMirame offers a mixed experience of Mexican cuisine with some hits and misses. While some dishes like fried chicken tacos and lamb barbacoa impressed, others like oysters and red snapper fell short. The cocktails are a definite highlight, with the Tamarind cocktail being particularly recommended. Service quality varies, with positive experiences like friendly staff and excellent service from Rudy contrasting with other reviews mentioning long wait times and unaccommodating staff. The ambiance is also a point of contention, with some diners enjoying the patio while others felt underwhelmed by the makeshift area. Mirame presents a mixed bag, with potential for improvement.
Be careful not to order too much food and add up the cost. The server said the dishes are tapas style so we ordered dishes total for people; appetizers, from the middle section of the menu which was pork belly and one from the main course wish was the fried snapper. The dishes ARE NOT tapas style. They are pretty large and heavy so by the time the snapper was brought we couldn’t eat much and it was pretty much wasted. The drinks were so so as other reviewers said. My favorite was ceviche and pork belly. Our server was very nice and classy. All and all with the high cost and quality it’s a place that I wouldn’t go back after trying it once
The service was wonderful but the food drinks were awful
Will Come back, food and experience was amazing, service was outstanding
Excellent food. Great outdoors. Portions are a little small. Service is a little slow
We booked a table for our wedding anniversary while staying in a very posh hotel in LA. I must admit that the restaurants in the hotel and nearby area were much better yet more expensive.Pros:Nice cocktails Some food is delicious Cons:Waitress is unaware what the dish is going look or tasteLong wait between ordering and having food on your tableWrong orders in the check be awareNothing special really at all
