Ladurée - Beverly Hills

The chocolate peanut butter cookie is absolutely incredible. Stop whatever you're doing and go spend the slightly terrifying six dollars on this cookie. The macarons are also fantastic. The prices are surprisingly high, but the charming open-air shop is worth treating yourself to every once in a while.

I decided to visit Ladurée on a whim and because of its convenient location near my hotel. I was craving a small dessert and ended up purchasing a selection of macarons to enjoy later. The shop was quiet in the late afternoon and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, providing me with some great recommendations on which flavors to choose. The macarons were delicious and, in my opinion, true to their Parisian origins. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
