CUT offers a refined dining experience with exceptional service and expertly prepared dishes, from vibrant salads to perfectly cooked steaks. Many praise its attentive staff, inviting atmosphere, and thoughtful menu selections, making it a top choice for special occasions and regular visits alike. However, some patrons feel the prices are steep relative to the food quality, and a few have found the ambiance marred by casual dress codes or inconsistent service. Overall, CUT remains a stylish destination for steak lovers seeking a polished yet approachable fine dining experience in Los Angeles.

Wolfgang Puck himself came over and shook my hand, thanked me for being there, and cut and served soufflé Dessert for us! Shows a lot that one of the most famous chefs in the world, worth over $90million, works 9:30 on a Tuesday night. More LA cuisine should note that I look for at least 2 nights a week and that just happened to me another time. It is also the type of work ethics that I respect and strive for myself. I have booked reservations for a birthday dinner here, as I heard that it was the best steakhouse in LA they have a Michelin Star (which is rarer in SoCal compared to SF numbers) and I was not disappointed, it went over expectations. Cut is located behind the lobby of the Wilshire Beverly Hills and offers only Valet, although I was able to find street parking nearby for my 7:45 start time. The lobby itself is beautiful and so is cut. It is a very bright, open steakhouse with only ambient lighting, so it is more illuminated than other steakhouses like mastros or morons but dark enough that you do not feel under the lights. Definitely a very high end view of it, I would dinate here at any time, but it mainly does the job for every celebration. We started the bread for the table (a must it a good amount and goes with everything you eat) and then chose the steactars as our starter. Wow. I like this dish in general, but the black truffle on this and the taste made it exceptional. After 10 minutes no single piece remained. Up with the 8oz CAB 28 day wet aged Filet Mignon from Illinois for $78. Pricey, but it was really delicious. The carrots with honey and ricotta were also a really nice addition. Finally, we finished with the dark chocolate sufflé, which Wolfgang himself cut and served us. Such a great experience! I'd say it's the best steak I've had in LA before. Next Mastro’s, then Musso Frank as my top 3 (from now on). A wonderful meal and experience; I would only be aware of everyone before booking before the price, in my opinion it is totally worth it and a must.

Wow... everything I can really say is wow! I brought my husband to celebrate his birthday and it was a happy birthday indeed! The food was delicious and the waiting staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. George was a wonderful waiter. Come was very nice. My husband has the fillet mignon and he said it's the best meat cut he ever had. Our compliments to the cook! In any case will come back here!!

Went here for my brothers birthday. Honestly the best steak I’ve ever had and I expected nothing less. Even tried lobster rolls and beef tartare for the first time, I was however a bit sceptical at first about raw beef in the tartare but after tasting it, you can’t even tell, and it tasted so good I wanted more. The server name was Ceaser I believe who did a great job helping out and explaining everything in the menu and showcasing the different cuts of meat at our table that made it easier for myself to order. The restaurant itself is a bit pricy. But I didn’t expect any less as it is in Beverly Hills, but was a good treat to celebrate my brothers brothers with friends.

First time at the Wilshire and what a wonderful first dinner. There is something for all appetites and everything was delicious. Staff was so attentive. The patio is great and the heaters made it very comfortable on a cool evening.
