The house back in the val bever, before the tunnel entrance of the Albula tunnel is always worth a stop. beautiful restaurant in arvenholz, perfect, pleasant service, beautiful, rich menu with Engadin specialties, wonderful, homemade fruit cakes can make a beautiful glusk.
Menu is not peculiar, long waiting for one course, food was ok but nothing exciting, prices over the acceptable for drinks as 8,5chf for a bottle of water gazeified. Kids food charged as normal is not nice approach
A great place to dine, it's a real winter wonderland. Went there with my husband, daughter and two friends and what a lovely evening we had. Our waiter was fantastic, we had to change a bottle of wine as it wasn't perfect but no problem, we were given another one. First we ordered a bottle of red to go with the house speciality of ham, salami, pear bread, coppa and cheese as well as a plate of prosciutto crudo. With our fondue we ordered a bottle of white wine, shame I don't remember the name of the wine but it was perfect. Fondue was served with potatoes, pears, bread and it was just delicious. We arrived here by train from Celerina and the Spinas stop is on request, so don't forget to push the button just before arriving. The last train back is around 10.40 p.m. but if you miss it don't worry plenty of rooms for you to sleep in.
