The Catalan food is quite good and the price is decent as well. I think the place is probably the local dinner. I recommend the experience.

If you are going out for a meal, then I would go elsewhere.

As tourists from the US/India, we stumbled upon this restaurant in our search for an eatery near Girona that wasn't over-run with tourists and was in a scenic l... read more As tourists from the US/India, we stumbled upon this restaurant in our search for an eatery near Girona that wasn't over-run with tourists and was in a scenic location. We ate their twice, bringing our sons the second time. It's in a scenic location, serving traditional Catalan food, and is family run; the younger members of the family (two sisters) speak English. I think we were the only non-Spaniards there; many of the customers seemed to be regulars. We especially liked the steak, rabbit, grilled meats, salad, and rice casserole. Everything is freshly made and the portions are generous. This restaurant is now on our go-to list for when we return to Catalunya.
