I was excited to visit this restaurant during New Year's, especially after reading all the positive reviews. However, I was disappointed to find that the $95 per person meal was not worth it (especially with an additional $40 in gratuity and tax). I would have expected it to be more in line with a $30 meal. While the portion sizes were generous, the 4-course meal was not impressive. The chicken salad appetizer had overcooked meat, the beef cauliflower soup was lukewarm, the entree was an overcooked steak with bland steamed frozen broccoli and fries, and the dessert was a lackluster strawberry smoothie. The meal is prix fixe and they didn't even ask how we wanted our steak cooked. I wouldn't recommend this place. It also seemed like the regular chef wasn't working that night, possibly because it was New Year's Day. I hope they can improve in the future.
The food was delicious and the overall experience was wonderful. The staff here is very friendly.
I visited this restaurant during New Year's and was excited due to the positive reviews I had read. However, the $95 per person meal ended up costing an additional $40 in gratuity and tax, making me question if it was worth more than $30. While the portion sizes were generous, the four courses were nothing to rave about. The appetizer was a chicken salad with boiled meat pieces, the beef and cauliflower soup arrived lukewarm, the entree was an overcooked broccoli steak with bland steamed fries, and the dessert was a strawberry smoothie that did not feel like a proper dessert. The menu was prix fixe and there was no option to choose how I wanted my steak cooked. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. It seems like they may have had a different chef on New Year's Day and I hope they can improve in the future.
I visited this restaurant during New Year's time with high expectations due to positive reviews, but unfortunately, the $95 per person meal (plus an additional $40 for gratuity and tax) did not live up to the hype. I would have valued it at no more than $30. While the portion sizes were generous, the four courses were not particularly impressive. The appetizer was a chicken salad with bland pieces of meat, the beef and cauliflower soup was served lukewarm, the entree was an overcooked broccoli steak with bland steamed vegetables and fries, and the dessert was a strawberry smoothie that didn't feel like a proper dessert. The meal was prix fixe and they didn't even ask how I wanted my steak cooked. I wouldn't recommend this place. I also suspect that the regular chef may not have been working that night due to it being New Year's Day. I hope they can make improvements.
