Here on Saturday afternoon for the first break in and get a steak and cheese bottom. It was AWESOME! Added some extra meat and made it a super sub, totally worth it. What I liked as much as the food was that the guys behind the counter were friendly, salt of the earthly people I found refreshing. Not to mention, my order was less than two minutes after placing. You know what they do and they do it very well. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this point.

I and my mother stopped after I had expected a fairly standard experience, and fortunately found us surprised. The food was absolutely delicious. I usually have trouble ending remnant because, honestly, foreign portion sizes, but I found myself finished my chicken salad in no time. Would definitely recommend when looking for high quality food served relatively quickly by friendly staff.

Enjoy classic grilled, fried, and griddled food at this relaxed lunch counter in downtown Bethesda. You can even get a pint here. I'd recommend the chicken souvlaki, fries with Old Bay, and obviously the cheese steak. They throw a lot of meat on those steaks! Seating is limited at the counter so be advised.

I love coming here, whether to eat in or take out. The steak and cheese is indeed very good and I usually go for the peppers and mushrooms. I just wish they would add a little more cheese? Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
