Very nice place. Doesnt seem like much from the outside but once you walk in, you are greeted right away by the friendly staff with a smile. Food was delicious overall.. sesame shrimp was a little salty but my other dishes were delicious. Lady waiter maybe needed to be a bit more uplifting.. was very serious and no smile from her. Beside that.. was a nice place.. I would definitely go back. View all feedback.
What Alan Woźniak doesn't like about Empire Szechuan:
I've been dining at this restaurant for a few years, and my experiences have been quite varied. The quality of the food can be excellent or just okay, lacking consistency. For instance, my friend ordered the scallops in Chile... View all feedback.
Excellent sushi take out this evening. So fresh and delicious. The staffs are friendly all the time. Highly recommend.
This was my first visit here and I was glad that I came! Great food, beautiful place and wonderful, friendly service. The ambience was delightful and even though my spicy food wasn't spicy, it was delicious and our waiter was very friendly. I will definitely come back here again!
When you see this restaurant from outside, you get an impression that belies the interior. The windows all have neon signs, and the building itself has a very casual feel. Located across from a grocery shop and next to a nail salon, one might expect a more laid back atmosphere. Instead, you will find a far more elegant environment. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Classy, but not uncomfortable for someone walking in in jeans and a t-shirt. It was a slow afternoon, and I had the chance to really admire the way it was set up. The prices are good to average. The lunch special meant I wound up spending less than I would for a couple of Starbucks drinks for the full meal( 2 sushi rolls, soup, spring roll and crispy noodles with sauce). Service was excellent and so was the food. The menu is coded with little pepper images next to anything spicy, and they have a note stating the chefs willingness to adjust the level of spicy to the preferences of customers. This alone sets them apart from many restaurants. This place is great if you are dining alone, and would be just as great for small to large groups.
The food is delicious, fresh and the space is beautiful! Egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, spring rolls, general tsao chicken all very good. The entre portions are perfect between 2 people. The staff is friendly and inviting kudos!
