What Corbin McLaughlin doesn't like about 99 Restaurants:
The food was great! The service not so much. We never had silverware given to us when our food was brought out, and three of us ordered steaks. The server didn't come back around until about 10 minutes later, well after the food had gotten cold. We also ordered drinks, and by the time we had gotten them we had finished our food. My server was John, and he did an outstanding job. His service, along with the quality of the food, exceeded my expectations! I had the lobster bisque and the baked scrod, both of which were delicious. I can't wait to return and try more items from the menu.
My wife and I have dined here several times, and we keep coming back for a few reasons: the food is excellent, the waitstaff is attentive, the prices are reasonable, and they offer a discount for veterans.
This was my first visit, and everything was fantastic. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I think this will be my new favorite spot. I live in Whitestone, NY, which is about an hour away, but it's definitely worth the trip!
Went for the first time last night. Had the country fried chicken and it was very good and the portion size was great �will definitely be going again. The staff was very nice also.
Went there for my Grandsons Birthday!! The staff and are waitress were great!!
