I ordered a spicy meat salad with a side of rice. I requested it to be medium seasoned and it was just as I asked for. The flavors were perfectly balanced with sweetness, sourness, and spiciness. As I waited for my salad, they brought out complimentary crispy egg rolls. I have tried this salad at several Thai restaurants, and this one ranks as the second best after Panang. I will definitely be coming back again! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pho 66:
We were unable to purchase many items at the restaurant as we had spent most of our money on the street getting a window fixed. However, the waitress was very generous. Upon learning of our situation, she quickly offered to treat us to a meal on the house. Despite our reluctance, she insisted and even teared up as she brought us some drinks. The food was delicious as well. We are grateful for the kindness of the wait... View all feedback.
My man and I ate here, I saw the pad with flat noodles and bark meat and he got the pho 66. we also started with the chicken saddle. it was all very good! however, he was dripping sauce with our hawn sate room temperature and the meatballs in the pho were inconspicuous. my pad saw it was super good. the gentleman, who was super beautiful and it was worth going in total!
I use to love this place. They shut down and then reopened. I guess they changed their menu. Food is good but the lady argued with me more then once and way over charged me for dishes that I didn't order to begin with then wouldnt fix it. I will not be going back. $45 for half the food not what I ordered to begin with is too much. Combination rice is good though and their tiny spring roles that they claim are egg rolls are good too but super expensive.
Pho tasted like it came out of a can from Walmart parking lot and the drunken noodles were lacking taste and spice. Spring Rolls were pretty good though. Thai kitchen and pho lein hoa are worth the drive.
Pho 66 is the absolute worst Pho I’ve ever had. It doesn’t take authentic AT ALL. The customer service was awful. I had a call in order so I used the pictures of the menu they provided online and when I got there to pay they added 3 extra things to my order and told me the pictures of the menu online aren’t the right prices (which obviously is not my problem). I ordered the spring rolls they have listed online and when I got there gave me an entire different type of spring rolls. They shouldn’t call this restaurant a pho restaurant when the quality of the pho itself is so bad.
My wife and I ate here and enjoyed what we had for the value, a couple times this past summer, however, after returning about a week ago or so I was staunchly offput by what I could describe as updates to the menu. The price of most starters, sides, etc. had all but doubled in the span of a month. In addition to menu price hikes, the recipes (egg rolls for instance) now have a completely different look and taste; now oily and overcooked as opposed to the vivacious and textured food we thought we could expect. As a last hurdle I was also forced to use the ATM which charged me a fee of $2.50 at the Medical Marijuana Dispensary next door because the eatery was not taking cards at the moment. An instance I consider, highly unprofessional. Fortunately the selection of east Asian cuisine in the Bethany/Warr Acres area is significantly limited so we may be forced to return here to scratch that flavor itch.
