Kfc - Berwyn
Kfc
Description
KFC continues to evoke mixed reactions from its patrons, with experiences ranging from delightful to frustrating. While many diners praise the restaurant for its delicious chicken, mashed potatoes, and friendly staff, others express dissatisfaction over long wait times and order mix-ups. The inconsistency in service, particularly during busy weekends, detracts from the overall experience. Some customers appreciate the cleanliness and efficiency of certain locations, highlighting their commitment to quality. However, issues like unreachable phone lines and confusion about operating hours remain a concern. Ultimately, KFC remains a beloved choice for many, although improvements in service consistency are needed.

We ordered a 4-piece chicken tenders meal, a 2-piece meal with chicken breasts, and a 3-piece meal that included a breast, thigh, and leg. Instead, we received what were essentially oversized chicken nuggets for the 4-piece, a 2-piece breast meal, and a 3-piece of thighs. For drinks, we had requested Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, and Diet Pepsi, but we got a green-colored carbonated water, Pepsi, and a drink that can only be described as a very sweet syrup with no carbonation. The biscuits that came with all the meals were rock-hard, and all of our mashed potatoes were cold—before we even left the drive-thru window. It felt like the food and drinks were practically tossed at me. The syrupy drink had overflowed, leaking over the lid, the green carbonation water didn’t have a properly closed lid, and the Pepsi was running down the sides of the cup. All of this cost a staggering amount—almost $40 for three people—plus the hassle of cleaning my car from the spilled drinks. None of us were satisfied with our experience.
I encountered a very poor attitude from the person who took my order. I mentioned to my daughter, a bit too loudly, that they seemed to have a bad attitude, and suddenly everything changed at the window. If you don't enjoy your job, maybe you should consider leaving. I’m not at fault here; I don’t even like chicken—I only ordered it for my child.
I stopped by for a quick lunch and found the staff to be very helpful. The service was fast and the food was delicious. My only suggestion would be to offer an option for either potatoes or coleslaw on the side.
