What a fantastic hidden gem! My family and I decided to try this restaurant for Easter lunch today and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety to choose from at the buffet. The dessert was also a hit, but what really stood out was the service and the charm of the owners (a husband and wife team). We will definitely be returning here and bringing our friends along too. The atmosphere may be a bit dated, but it didn't affect our overall experience. I would give 4 stars for atmosphere, but the quality of the food and service definitely make up for it. Service: Dine in. Meal type: Lunch. Price per person: A$100–120. Food: 5. Service: 5. Atmosphere: 4.
Overall a great place to get together and celebrate. I have to emphasise the very delicious Sri Lankan buffet for a very reasonable price if you like curries, then Cha's curries were delicious. If you don't like spicy food, they serve lasagna in their buffet that my adult children reckoned taste many times better than the ones found in random cafes and Italian restaurants desserts (included in the buffet) are authentically Sri Lankan except for fresh fruits and vanilla ice cream. Another words you won't find any cakes or chocolate based bakes here. We did not stay for the karaoke and dancing session but if you are an Elvis fans, then this is the right place to jingle. The only downside is the restaurant building has reveal its age, atmosphere is a little rustic but overall clean with much effort into the deco.
