This restaurant has everything to be the best on the Riviera; but some important points leave something to be desired. I go there almost every week, and they do some silly things; that good management could easily resolve. We were not passing customers, we are there every weekend. Whenever I go I invite friends to accompany us, usually 3 to 5 couples, and the penultimate time I went; They informed me that they would no longer charge me for corkage because I attended so much, without me asking. I was happy. Especially because the menu the restaurant offers is bad and expensive. Last Friday we chose to have dinner in Funchal... there were 7 of us, I brought wine and the waiter came to inform me that I would normally be charged for corkage, which I hadn 't quite understood; and then came back saying that it was only this courtesy the other time I was... anyway... inelegant and very annoying, then the manager came to solve this serious problem... zero skill in talking to the customer or rather an account that amounted to R$1,200.00 are they worried about charging for corkage?? and they charged... and creating an embarrassing situation for the customer?? Unfortunately I will no longer go to this restaurant, I think the situation was unnecessary. The dishes are good, quite expensive, by the way.... but the presumption and arrogance in dealing with customers has an impact on demotivating attendance, since currently we already have Jangada, Ristorantino and Maremonte serving the public they represent. the residents of Riviera. Here 's a tip...we have to have pleasure and not leave the restaurant with the feeling that they did you a favor by serving you. Empathy is a great ally of the trader.
The restaurant surprised us in a very positive way! We went with five people: me, my wife, my parents and my sister. The waiter, Mr. Romário, was extremely attentive and, upon realizing what we were looking for, suggested some excellent dishes. We ended up opting for the sole, which was simply perfect! As a suggestion, it would be interesting if the restaurant offered some printed menu options, as, for my parents, who are elderly, using the digital menu via QR Code is a little complicated. Other than that, everything was impeccable!

I would like to alert the restaurant that my husband and I got food poisoning a week ago after having lunch and eating fish at the restaurant. We ended up in the emergency room and so far I'm not completely well. I live here and I used to have lunch at the express restaurant. Since this happened, I don't intend to go anymore.
