I just had a fantastic meal at The Lion! The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and inviting, and the decor is amazing—it perfectly suits the place. Called for sunday lunch today 30/10/2022. The staff provided a brilliant level of service and the chef made me something that wasn’t on the menu. We had excellent banter with the bar and waiting staff. We were all very pleased with all aspects of the meal. Would highly recommend. Service: 5 Location: 5
Super friendly hotel in a beautiful village. A must for alternative art lovers. ! Excellent food, amazing customer service, well worth a visit,. Frank is a great host. A most enjoyable weekend. Rooms: All different, some in vibrant colours. Nearby activities: Andrew Logan museum. Walkability: Beautiful walks along the Montgomery canal. 5 mile walk to Welshpool . Food drinks: Excellent food. Noteworthy details: Hotel is owned by renowned artist Andrew Logan. All rooms are different, with his artworks in glass and water colours all over the hotel. Gorgeous. 5 mins walk away is his museum, well worth a visit.
