When I head out of Sydney to ride the old pacific highway this is my first port of call. The coffee is always spot on. I have never had a bad meal, service is great, friendly and fast. The Lycra brigade seem to frequent the place so you know it must be good. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wise Monkey Cafe:
My wife and I dropped into the Wise Monkey for a quick coffee and hot chocolate. The drinks were lovely but the homemade banana bread was a little dry. The woman serving was very friendly and you get the feeling that it's a local coffee hangout for the regulars. The decor is very basic but the vibe is pleasant. View all feedback.

Helpful service and a decent number of labelled vegan options. I had the Nachos. Great way to end our Great North Walk! Would happily eat here again.
Very friendly and There was good quality milk alternatives and the barista owner (female) was happy to use maple syrup instead of honey for my coffee. My husband is a barista and he was happy with the beans flavour but… Milk: happy soy boy, milk lab almond and macadamia, barrista oat Cons: I know she wasn’t was busy but the barista had done multiple shots into a glass and then poured one shots worth (ish) into my keep cup. This is poor practice as it generally waters down the coffee and you loose the crème plus quantity is always inaccurate… Updated from previous review on 2022-02-19
Great little cafe with a relatively large number of vegan options. Some breakfast options are even vegan and gluten-free. Good coffee and very friendly staff. One of the few really vegan-friendly cafes in this part of Sydney!

Milk: cheerful soy boy, milk lab almonds and Macadamia, Barrista Hafer Cons: I know that she was not busy, but the barista had made several shots in a glass and then poured a shot worth (ish) into my holding cup.
