We flew here by Sydney Seaplanes which was beautiful. The restaurant is in a quiet, idyllic location with breathtaking views of the river. The flavours of the food were really nice we particularly enjoyed the kingfish. There were 7 courses but each portion was quite small. We would’ve preferred an extra savoury course instead of 3 dessert courses, however overall the experience was lovely and memorable. View all feedback.
What Callie Rice doesn't like about BEROWRA Waters Inn:
The restaurant was uninviting and not very friendly. The service was incredibly slow, and they changed the menu without informing anyone. The portion sizes were significantly smaller compared to other places I’ve visited. The food was mediocre and uninspiring, with some dishes that I could easily make better at home. I wouldn’t recommend this place and will not be returning. View all feedback.
Start with a very friendly boat captain, even though need to wait for a while at jetty due to limited people on board per time. But definitely not ruined any mood for the day. Friendly staffs with a pleasant and calm water view. Food are delicious too. An enjoyable lunch experience.
My partner took me to Berowra Waters Inn as a special surprise date and what a surprise it was! I loved the boat trip into the restaurant, as the view is beyond stunning (especially on the beautiful day we went). Seated with those views really takes your breath away and then the degustation begins! With local ingredients, each plate was gorgeously presented and I appreciated the careful effort that went into each dish. Our wine glasses were never empty and the service was faultless, with the waiter knowing when to ask how the meal was and when to give us space to enjoy each other's company and the view. Some of the flavours were extremely rich and the beetroot element on one dish was extremely over powering, which I think needed some more balance. However, it was a truly beautiful day out and I would recommend to anyone that has a special occasion coming up!
Absolutely wonderful afternoon. delicious food, excellent service. we chose the 6 curs degustation. the custard was a standout, but everything was delicious.
Vanessa: eating on the water on Friday afternoon is nothing to sniff, especially if the location is the idyllic berowra waters inn. we were on the list to try many years, we were pleased to accept a invite, the venue and modern Australian menu the restaurant is known for. with a glimmer in my eye I offer adieu to baby w, which I left in the care of his grandmother while I set up to meet bianca for our most anticipated lunch.
This is my favourite fine dining place. I’ve been here three times already to try out the different season menu and I enjoyed all of them. I love the unique experience of arriving to the restaurant by boat.
