So happy to live 5 mins away from what I think is the best tradional Italian pizza on the central coast. Being European I could even say that their pizza are better than some I've had in Italy.The service is friendly, the set up is very cool and looks very unique, and they are very much kids friendly ! My husband and I attended the Italian Festival at Etalong Markets for the first time today. We decided to go Italian for lunch as you would at La Fiamma. We ordered "Pizza Verdure- Mozzarella, roasted kumara, zucchini, sweet and sour onion, pine nuts and rosemary"The base was crisp and tasty but the toppings were almost non- existent!. The place to experience what living in another country would be like ,lose your self in this beautiful little restaurant . Fresh food ,great service , pricing is better than reasonable .
A great Italian Restaurant that we go to every time we stay in the area. The Pizzas are fabulous, the service is good & welcoming. We will be back next time we are in Ettalong.
If you yearn for a true Italian pizza, try La Fiamma. It's the best pizza on the Peninsula in our view. The setting is Piazza-like in the middle of the Ettalong Markets complex. They serve good wines and beer if you are interested. But the pizza is the attraction....wood fired and perfectly Italian! Only problem is they are not open every day. So check when they are open before going.
Fantastic food. Patricia, out host and restaurant owner, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, and Katarina our waitress magically appeared throughout the evening taking orders, topping up water and adding chilli, Parmesan and pepper at just the right moment. Excellent.With a party of 4 diners we feasted on delicious Arancini Balls with mozzarella, peas, just a hint of sun dried tomatoes and chilli with accompanying pesto, followed by 2 traditional Italian style pizzas - a Margherita and a Prosciutto - delightfully thin crusts with ripe, fresh lavishings of tomato, basil and rocket with thin salty Prosciutto and shaved Parmesan. Accompanying the pizzas were a pasta dish of tender calamari and prawns with fusilli pasta and a delightful garlic tomato sauce and a bowl of the owners own recipe of meatballs with penne - yum! A panna cotta to die for and a tiramisu shared amongst 4 very happy diners to finish.La Fiamma is a MUST for serious foodies.
