The architecture is was attracted us to try it out, while the food and service will have us coming back when in the area. We were two couples. Three people had Carne a la Tampiqueña (Filet) and I had the Arrachera, both served in the traditional way. Very good portion sizes at USD 10 per dish, would cost more than the double in the U.S. Everything is reasonably priced for the quality, beautiful interiors and service.Service was friendly and unobtrusive, orders taken and food served in reasonable time for home cooked food. While Bernal is mostly famous for the La Peña rock, we had been at nearby Freixenette to visit the cava a tour and tasting. Bernal is about 10-15 minutes away and a great lunch option after the winery tour.

Food was good, served very quickly, but what stands out is definitely the service.
