Room has a spacious safe for valuables, and a mini-fri... read more Rooms: Spacious room, excellent bathrooms, spotless. Great blackout blinds, very good bed, lovely linens. Room has a spacious safe for valuables, and a mini-fridge and Nespresso machine. And at least 4 usb ports for charging. Nearby activities: The street markets are a treat. Cheeses, wines, flowers, meats, vegetables, fruit, handicrafts...it was busy, but friendly, bustling, colorful. A good window into what locals like. The fresh breads- so many kinds, all made with love. Walkability: Great location! Short walk to numerous restaurants, to the historical areas, about 15 minutes walk (if you aren't shopping) to visit the bears. We were lucky to be there for market day, many delights not far from the hotel. Food drinks: For dinner, tried the rosti, one with cervelas, the other with baked goat cheese, roasted peppers and spinach salad. Excellent. Local beer and wine, also lovely. Dining experience great. Breakfast at the Bellevue was fab. Cold and hot choices, lots of variety. Excellent coffee and juices. Smoked mackerel was a real treatI!
