very friendly staff. in advance and always strives. eating is very good, of best quality and perfectly prepared. We were there for the year and were festively served. to the conclusion there was as a presence of the house a self-baked gugelhupf which was richly garnished with fruits, for nothing understands! that is still service we want it. many thanks for this great evening View all feedback.
What Kaja Allik doesn't like about Jack's Brasserie:
visited the lounge for a tee and a light snack with friends. the whole experience lasted 90 minutes. the service was extreme with only one waiter to operate while all the tables were full. I ordered the millefeuille and I had it now twice here and...both paint the bake was stale and old and they charge 16hf for it?! do not order the millefeuille. other food was good. the brassiere is good, but avoid the lounge View all feedback.
We are Australians who visited Bern for 3 nights after touring for two weeks in Europe. We were met by exceptionally friendly and welcoming reception staff who couldn't do enough to help us. The rooms were beautiful clean spacious comfortable. Really 5 star. So...much better then the same rated hotels we stayed in before in other places in Europe. The concierge was very good and the housekeeping most helpful and pleasant. Very very service orientated and all staff consistently good. We will definitely return to this same hotel on our next visit to Bern. The staff should be commended by management for such high service quality. We have travelled a great deal in many places in the world and this hotel met our highest expectations and was better than most.

A beautiful Parisian brasserie in the heart of Bern. The kitchen is made in the classic brewery, but perfectly prepared. an emounced mention to Alsatian sauerkraut which is simply the best I've ever eaten. the wine list is extraordinary, with lots of interesting Swiss producers as well as many wines from all over the world. any wine lover will be in admiration and it has really contained prices (good, we are still in Swiss so everything is relative). Very nice address.
Coming of the train at the adjacent main rail station in Bern, we needed an early lunch at a bit of time and space to prepare our next pitch. Our requests were met with a charming approval that would have been worth the trip. The actual late lunch we finally had was very classic Brasserie fare in perfection. Abslolutely glad we stepped in here.
We have eaten well, the kitchen is fine and the selection correct. the service is friendly but rather inattentive. several things were forgotten: map of the tagesmenu, weinkarte or question, coffee only after dessert. pity, otherwise it would have been nice.
