We got into Mundaka on a Monday and went to two highly rated restaurants for lunch and it turned out to be close . We asked the local people where we could eat... read more We got into Mundaka on a Monday and went to two highly rated restaurants for lunch and it turned out to be close . We asked the local people where we could eat and they instructed us to go across to the main church and we would find some restaurants that would be open for the day . We chose El Bodegon owned by Inaky. Ordorica , a friendly man who recommended the kind of food for us. His daughter Goretti also was helpful and actually took care of serving us . It was a great culinary experience , notably the crab dish that was exceptional . There were ten of us and we consumed their loaves of bread at the start since we were hungry and had driven from San Sebatian . They went out of their way to get more bread from another store just to make sure we were satisfied . They also recommended their house wine which was far cheaper than the branded ones and it turned out to be very good in taste and value. Inaky also advised us on the quantity of food as we had over ordered. This is the kind of exceptional personalized service when it is the owners themselves who serve you . They care more about making the customer happy than sell more food or wine. Highly recommended and look for Inaky and his lively daughter Goretti .
