Was so looking forward to having lunch here due to the great reviews.. Sadly never got past the front door! By 2:15 pm was told that the restaurant was completely full and they were not accepting new tables! Couldn't even ask for a glass of wine.. Their loss!
Stopped off for a coffee in this charming Basque town of Bermeo on our route from Bilbao to San Sebastián.Fabulous array of tapas on the bar to choose from, which we could see being freshly prepared in the kitchen delicious. Asked for a piece of tortilla and was offered a choice of four! Easily the best tapas I’ve ever eaten. Very reasonably priced, situated on edge of busy town square. Perfect for sitting and watching the town come to life.
After a hike to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe from here for lunch with seafood. Brother loved it. Not so much. Nevertheless, the food was good, the prices were fair, the staff was more than friendly and trusting. Come back!
I ate a regular pintxo with a coffee and they calculated me 3,60 €!! I work in a city and they never charged me for breakfast more than €3.30. I think they lost their minds and it smells awfully inside.
